Sinks to the bottom and the 3 to 5 inch goldfish in the tank approve.
No issue with the discoloration of the water. Fish seems happy with my purchase.
Good value for the $$, delivered on time by the friendly Amazon delivery Person in the big grey van.
Note any over feeding will cause discoloration of the water, and it’s bad for fish, animals and humans.

We have an aquarium at the state park with fish and an eel from the our lake. The eel was about 4 inches long and was not growing after 6 months. Then I started feeding it these shrimp pellets. When I walk in in the morning, he’s half out from the gravel waiting for me. It’s the only time you get to see him and he comes right to where I drop them and gobbles them all up. It’s been 6 months and its now about 13″ long. So I keep buying them for it and my catfish in my own aquarium love them too. It’s a nice break and less expensive than the frozen bloodworms and krill I usually buy for my own fish.

    3. HMG

I was hoping they would sink more slowly so surface-shy fish could grab them before they hit bottom where they get lost in bottom litter. But they are advertised as food for bottom feeders so expect that.
Very small pellets best for indoor aquariums.

      Very good product

I have 3 different types of loaches – 1 large, extremely silly Dojo loach/oriental weatherloach (8 inches), two different types of kuhli loaches (3 to 5 inches), and one hypostomus plecostomus together in one tank. This food is what I have been feeding them for several years now. They all seem to like it and all of them are very healthy. The pellets do not foul up the tank water or throw off ph balance as long as the appropriate amounts are used when feeding. I have also occasionally fed this to my fancy goldfish as a treat.

    6. DeniseIona

We have three large koi (22″) and a goldfish (14″) as well as an algae eater (more than 2′ long).. and they all love this food. It sinks to the bottom so it doesn’t go into the skimmer and since they are bottom feeders – makes them very happy!

    7. Brenda B

Falls to bottom and then slowly disintegrates and all the fish join in. Will buy again

    8. Missy

Ive tried the aqueon goldfish granules but really prefer these better

    9. Jessi

      Yummy
