Delicious non dairy product
Amazon Customer –
I love the product – unsweetened and sweetened. I use it all the time. I love it on berries, cereal, coffee, etc. it’s very creamy and tasty. The French Vanilla doesn’t taste or smell like vanilla and is very sweet – but I still like it.
HOWEVER: The container is a nightmare to open – I often end up with a mess when I pull the tab off. Sometimes they’re dented in transit – which makes it worse. I end up pouring the creamer into another container. I wish they’d fix this.

Product was very grainy. Like powdered milk that wouldn’t mix. I have never had this happen before. I used to buy it locally in the dairy case and the store quit carrying it. I have been ordering shelf stable creamer from Amazon and so far it was great. All of the cartons in the box were like this. When I poured it down the sink, the creamer left a grainy film on my sink.
UPDATE:
Amazon sent out a new box at no cost and it was perfect!

I bought a case of these cartons as a substitute for non-fat half and half in my two daily cups of coffee. I blame my doctor, who is a nut about “plant-based lifestyle;” I was trying to follow at least some of her recommendations.
This has roughly the same level of creaminess as a low-fat dairy product, and I know coconut milk is really good for you, but . . . it still tastes like coconut, with a somewhat bitter aftertaste, and I really don’t care for it. I am using up the cartons but will not likely buy more.
Precise Disarray –
Coconut forward, it will definitely make your coffee taste like coconut. Good balance though, as the almond simmers it down a bit, yet the almond doesn’t poke through. I tend to find that almond milk ruins my coffee (even though I like it for everything else), so I took a chance on this because of my favorable impression of other Califia products. It’s good. Just have to like coconut.
Thay being said, it isn’t as creamy as their Unsweetened Barista Blend Oat Milk , which is very creamy and has a neutral taste that works well in my coffee. I love it, maybe too much.. haha.. as I keep buying it. I prefer my coffee black, but when I have some of their oat milk in my fridge, I cant help but grab for that. In comparison, I am not grabbing for this coconut & almond blend. It isnt bad, it just isnt quite doing it for me. I use it when I make one of my weird, slightly off putting coffee blends (my 2nd coup of coffee is used as a vehicle for some supplements. If I dont want to make a real smoothie, I use my coffee to put it all into. That makes for some strange flavors. This creamer helps mask some of it, and helps give it some normal flavor).
I love that it is shelf stable until opened, so it is a welcome addition to my pantry and preps. Also works in a pinch for smoothies and other food preparations that could use some coconut/almond milk. Nothing bad that I can see. Really like this brand, so try some stuff out until you find a perfect match. For me, it is the barista blend I linked to.

I began using this product as a coffee creamer, and it is great for that. However, I soon discovered that it works well for any use or recipe that calls for milk, yet is non-dairy. Good with cereal! I even use it for baking. Buying the six-carton pack only saves a few dollars, but lets me keep it on hand so I don’t run out.

several nut/ plant based brands separate in hot coffee. Since moving from another state I have not found a coconut + nut based creamer similar to what I had been using until I looked on Amazon. I have returned or thrown out several alternate brands because they separate after 1 day in the fridge. Stores do carry many non-dairy creamers, but not unsweetened or unflavored. This creamer from Califia Farms is great…it behaves like half and half, tastes great, and can also be used in baking. Having a shelf-stable (until opened) creamer in the pantry saves me shopping time and trips carrying groceries.

This is my forth purchase of this 6-pack of creamers, needless to say We love it! I haven’t had any clumps, just nice creamy milk that froths hot or cold, and makes a perfect creamy coffee or tea. The taste is excellent with chai powder for homemade chai lattes! I highly recommend for a non-dairy creamer alternative!

After putting this in my coffee, I realized it tasted like soap. At first, I couldn’t tell if it was me or if it really tasted like soap. I had my husband taste it, he came close to vomiting after trying it. This is the most disgusting creamer I’ve ever used! I’m not so sure that it wasn’t the source of what made me extremely nauseous and sick all day, either. Califia you just need to stop trying to make creamer, it’s repulsive and possibly also sickening. Since I wasted at least $4 on a cup of rotten coffee, I feel Califia owes me money for that. Coffee is not cheap!
I absolutely DO NOT suggest you buy this creamer if you’re looking for an alternative to the unhealthy powdered or milk based creamers. Anything that makes you ill all day after drinking it is probably unhealthy as well.
I’ll never buy Califia again….EVER.
