The personal effects strips seemed to be the only ones to really work and the whitening was uneven for me. A couple of my teeth are crooked, so only part of the strip made contact with them, even though I pressed down firmly. They only cover a little bit past the canines. If you have a big smile, you can see a difference in color where the strips end.
