This is both delicious and healthy.

This product is healthy but I could not get into it.
I would put it in yogurt but would not eat it too often.

I’ve eaten a bunch bags of the Cranberry Vanilla flavored Qi’a and I must admit it tastes better than all other cereals I’ve ever eaten. However, I’m concerned about the health safety of the natural vanilla flavor additive inside.
I’ve read on several websites that "natural flavor" often contains MSG or other Excitotoxins. Natures Path confirms that there is no MSG inside but I’m wondering if it could be some other excitotoxin. Excitotoxins make food taste good but they have horrible side effects especially to children. Years back when I was consuming large amounts of aspartame (also an Excitotoxin) it gave me recurring headaches and chest pains. Natures Path refuses to disclose the exact composition of the natural vanilla flavor and says its proprietary information. Their emails below provide some information of its contents. The product is labeled as USDA Organic but the "natural flavor" is not identified as organic on the ingredients list. Does anyone know if USDA Organic labeled foods are allowed to contain small amounts of excitotoxins or other toxic ingredients?
I would give this product five stars if it could be confirmed the natural flavor is not an excitotoxin or some other toxic ingredient. Health trumps flavor so I’ll give it two stars for now. I’m now eat the original flavor because it has no "natural flavor" or other undisclosed ingredients and add my own real vanilla extract and other ingredients (ground flax seed and unrefined organic coconut oil goes great with it) which makes it taste just as good as the cranberry vanilla flavor.

Good product, and nutritious. Great price for a healthy product. It arrived fairly quickly. I plan on purchasing again.

Three teaspoons of this in a glass of vanilla kiefer makes it a real treat. I add dried cranberries too and it’s a fast breakfast or mid-day snack. The taste and texture are great but you will have to work to get those chia seeds out when you brush your teeth. Also take care when looking at price. You can pay a little for this or a lot and it lasts a long time.

I purchase several bags of this when it is available at a good price. I use a couple of spoons in my yogurt, tapioca pudding and oatmeal to add some nutrients and fiber. I will continue to use and highly recommend. I prefer the version with the dried cranberries for an extra flavor.

I bought this because my sister raves about Qi’a, so I had to find out for myself what’s so darn great about this cereal that looks like bird food. I picked the plain version as other choices had almonds, and I have an almond allergy. The first time I tried Qi’a, I ate it with a little nonfat milk. My initial reaction was "I just don’t get it." It has a weird texture that’s kind of crunchy and mushy at the same time and has zero sugar, which confused my taste buds as so many cereals and granola are sweetened. The milk gave it a slight sweetness, but I have to admit I just wanted it to taste a tad sweeter. I think dried fruit (dates, raisins, etc.) would do the trick, but I didn’t have any in the house. So the next time I tried it I added a touch of Jaggery-which has its own unique taste and sweetness. Vedica Organics – Jaggery Powder – 100% Natural Organic That addition of something sweet took this cereal from edible to yummy. Now I look forward to my 2 tablespoons of Qi’a as a snack or part of a light meal with nonfat milk and a touch of Jaggery, and I totally get why people love this healthy mixture. I will definitely buy Qi’a again as its healthy and satisfying too. For those who haven’t tried it, you may need to experiment mixing it with different things like yogurt, dried or fresh fruit, almond milk, etc., but I think most will find a way to enjoy this healthy cereal. I recommend giving Qi’a a try.

I love this qia cereal replacement. I eat it every morning with fruits and nuts. Works perfect for those on a keto diet.

I recently tried Qi’a Superfood Organic Gluten Free Cranberry Vanilla Chia, and I have mixed feelings about the product. While the taste is delicious, the product is not very filling.
Firstly, the taste of the product is great. The cranberry and vanilla flavors blend together perfectly, and the chia seeds give the product a nice texture. The product is also organic and gluten-free, which is a big plus.
However, I found that the product is not very filling. It didn’t keep me satisfied for very long, and I found myself getting hungry soon after eating it. I had to supplement it with something else to feel satisfied.
Additionally, the price of the product is a bit high for the amount you get. The package is small, and you don’t get very much product for the price.
Furthermore, while the product is organic and gluten-free, it is also very high in sugar. This may be a concern for some people who are watching their sugar intake.
Overall, I would recommend Qi’a Superfood Organic Gluten Free Cranberry Vanilla Chia for the taste, but not for its filling properties. If you’re looking for a quick and easy snack, this product is great. However, if you’re looking for something more filling, you may want to look for a different option.
