These pens make me want to hand write everything. Truly. As my fingers caress the rubberized grip, inspiration flows through in fourteen assorted ink colors and decorates my paper with thoughts and ideas. Science says Papermate’s comfortable design doesn’t trigger my sensory issues. I say the pens are magic. Who’s right? Only you can decide.

We’ve bought them several times. Nice colors. Some are not as full as the others, and if not used for a bit they will stop writing even when you still see ink in them. We do still like them, but will mostly wait till they go on sale before buying them.

Beautiful colors but most importantly you can see each one. The ink is smooth and thankfully isn’t runny. As a south paw … ( Left handed person) these pens although gel have a great fine point that does not leave marks on the side of my hand. Lefties can’t stand the bleeding of pens and or pencils or markers pretty much any writing utensil. These are great for Teachers , in the office , Birthday Cards, Notetaking for college students. The grip doesn’t leave a dent in my fingers , and even if you forget to click it closed the ink does not bleed out! This is my fourth set I have purchased and if you are a specific pen person these will impress you “Write Away”! My only downside is it would be great to recycle these pens and purchase refillable ink as a package of the colors but I haven’t a clue if they have this.

Great pens. Beautiful variety of bright colors. Perfect for my over organized planner and notes.
Important to note, they act up at first but once you break them in, it’s smooth writing.

I just love how easy these pens write. The colors are so nice and it glides smoothly. Went and ordered 4 more sets for teachers.

Now that I’ve tested them out – they are vibrant and come in a good selection of colors. There was even 2 periwinkle tinted ones! Although finicky, they are smooth writing with a semi-firm to firm pressure tested on the 3 paper mediums. They appear not to glop or skip once activated, and I was able to write small fine notes into my planner with no bleed through. I did not give them a perfect score because if you don’t press hard enough the text will be light and scratchy looking. Overall Paper Mate Ink Joy has put out another great set of pens suitable for journaling, artwork…two thumbs up!

I can’t recommend these highly enough. They write smoothly, dry quickly, and have lovely vibrant bright colors. If you love gel pens, these are definitely worth it!
