Incredible after 6 hours!
Ok I’m amazed. Recently we adopted the sweetest 9 month old Ragdoll who wants nothing more than to be best friends with our two 2-year old sister cats. He follows them around just waiting for them to come around to his charm (like, it’s hilarious I’m not kidding). They’ve hissed, growled, and ran away for the past week since we’ve had him.I kid you not. I plugged this sucker in and 6 hours later Ragdoll and one of the girls were nose to nose smelling with no hissing! They were even giving each other “soft eyes” which is a sign of affection. I’m utterly astounded by this thing. It’s been a few hours, I can’t wait to see how they act once it’s fully effective after about a week, per the packaging. For now, I’d consider it a huge win.

seems to be pleased. He has 2 cats
My father, for whom I purchased this for, seems to be pleased. He has 2 cats, one of which is aggressive, and one skittish, both seem to get along with one another better and are both calmer around children. Also, both had a tendency to spray, or mark their territory, and that has completely stopped. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the refills don’t quite last a full month, only about 20 days. All in all, a great product and worth buying. I would recommend this product.

the fighting still happens but….
The fighting between my two cats still happens but it is SO much better than it was 3 weeks ago. I first placed the plug-in where they ate and I really started seeing a difference in my male (the teenager!!) so then I moved it upstairs where they both sleep and now I am seeing a difference in my female (the middle-aged lady) as well. They still get in to it but with a lot less frequency and severity.

Cat Attacked It
We got this hoping that our feral, indoor cat would find it soothing and maybe calm down some. She scratches the furniture, meows loudly and races around the house like a banshee. She did not like the ThunderEase at all. She hissed at the diffuser and then slapped it several times. I moved it to a more discreet location, she immediately attacked it again. We know she has behavioral issues but not to this extent. We tried the other brand with much better results.

My cats are brothers again…………
I have 2 year old twin brothers: orange and white (one long hair one short hair). I’ve had them since they were kittens and they’ve been so, so close. But, their mom was feral and scary things put them in a dither. Keegan is the long hair and he is much more skitterish. We had a non-recognition aggression event about 3 months ago and it got worked out. Then, about 7 weeks ago I ran the vacuum and it was again set off. They growled, and snarled and one hid and one was after him. I was beside myself with what to do. It went on and on and on; I had to keep them in separate rooms. Less than a week of ThunderEase and they are again best buds. THANK YOU!

It gets used up too quickly but works!
My kitties turn on each other many times when something scary or upsetting to them happens. They are litter mates. These plug-ins have helped a lot but wish they didn’t evaporate so quickly! It’s too expensive to keep up so may have to risk going w/o sometimes.

Helps relieve cat stress but won’t cure bad habits
Have used this for 3wks so far, def helped my cats that were stressed during moving. Seems to keep them calm from fighting so much & they seem happier/less stressed. Also use in combination with Thunderease cat calming gel. Neither stopped them from bad habits like scratching furniture or howling at night, though.

Eh. Still skeptical.
I bought this for tension between our animals as we brought a new kitten in. We have two adult males. One older who raised the other from two weeks to now. I did not see a difference in the animals. The product got really hot. I started a refund but they wanted me to print out a label and drop it off at a place. It wasn’t worth the hassle of all of that. I ended up not using it for fear it may catch fire when I wasn’t home or even burn the small guy. The vet recommended another brand but I had heard about thunderease. The seller was on top of responding to my return request. Again, just too much hassle to send back for me.

Going to review again when circumstances change
So I’m giving this product a 3 because I’m not sure if it worked or not, our cats are not extremely stressed or anxious. We purchased them in the hopes of encouraging one of our cats to leave the bedroom it’s his “safe” haven and it didn’t work but we are having a lot of strangers in the house doing repairs and inspections so this may have defeated the purpose of the product. We are going to try it again once we get to our new home and see if it helps them acclimate faster and encourage this cat to not stay in our bedroom that is his safe haven. Once we try it again I can give it a better rating/review.

This stuff actually works!-Updated!
The media could not be loaded.
I adopted a stray cat about six months ago and my resident cat wasn’t too pleased. The new cat was more aggressive and would hiss and chase the old cat under the furniture and off the bed. The bed was the main battle zone as they fought to sleep with me, waking me up every single night to growling, hissing, smacking and all sorts of nonsense. It got to a point where I was seriously considering separating them permanently. As a last ditch effort I bought this stuff about 2 weeks ago. I plugged it in right next to the bed. That night old cat jumped up purring, curled up and fell asleep. Then new cat decided to join the party and I expected WW3 once again, but this time was different. They both acknowledged each other and each laid down on separate sides of me and we slept gloriously through the night. I was hesitant to believe it was this easy, but they both actually get lovey when they hop up on the bed now, and make biscuits endlessly. They’re not snuggle buddies with each other or anything, but they can sit a few inches apart and tolerate the other’s presence, which is way more than I ever expected. There is still the occasional hissing and growling in other parts of the house, but all in all it’s about 10% of what it used to be and I’m good with that. I’m going to purchase a few more of these and see if that solves the issues, but I have to say I’m pretty impressed so far! I’d be curious to find out if this has a long term behavior modification element to it so that I won’t have to use it forever. Even if not, the good night’s sleep I am finally getting is worth way more than the $20/mo this stuff costs! I’d recommend it to anyone who has issues with fighting cats, the worst that can happen is you waste $20 but if it works for you too it’s well worth it!! It is far easier than rehoming a cat or putting one down because of behavioral issues.***UPDATE 4/21/18***Came into the room today and found them cuddled up together and grooming each other! This is waaaaay beyond any tiny shred of hope I had for peace between them! I’m posting a video to show their ❤️!

Did it help?
I’m going to be totally honest here, I have no idea if this helped or not, which probably means it did help. I have a 7 year old cat at home, she’s been the only cat in my life since she was a baby, I recently decided to add 2 little boys to my home and she was not having it. I felt so horrible, but that aside, I could tell she was just a nervous wreck, her eyes were like saucers, she was hiding, wouldn’t even let me pet her for at least a week. So I knew Feliway existed, but I didn’t know if it was enough. So I got a Feliway brand multicat plug-in as well as this one. Feliway is in her “cat room” and this brand is in everyone’s shared space. She actively went up to it and sniffed it and put her face on it when I first plugged it in and if I sit and think about it, she really did start to calm down quite a bit. It has been a couple of weeks now and she’s turned into the residential groomer and kitten watcher 🙂 Like I said I really have no idea if this is what helped, she could have just gotten used to them on her own, but surely these plug ins must have helped at least with calming her nerves, and when everyone is in the shared space(which is also where I am most of the time, this is how I notice of course) everyone is happy and comfortable and playing and just being crazy or maybe just sleeping!

I think it might have worked
My cat Flanagan suddenly after living here 11 months decided he needed to mark his territory in the house. Being like a German hausfrau I cleaned well, put pieces of marine carpet on top of the sprayed areas & splash guards in front of the areas. Then I bought a DOK cat house & heating pad in case he needed to live outside, and instituted this pheromone diffuser. At first I didn’t think it worked but I figured I would just let it run out. Now I realize he hasn’t sprayed in over a week, so I’m thinking it must take a week or so to take effect. That or he just decided to stop! I’ll buy more.

Product doesn’t last gh
Overall, this product worked fairly well… at first. At the end of each refill, there was a point where it stopped being effective enough for my cat and she would stress urinate on my bed. There would still be a good centimeter left of the fluid left in the bottom. Compared to other types I har tried, I never had this issue, even when there was hardly any liquid left. But with this one, something about the last bit isn’t enough to provide the comfort it should to my cat. Will not be ordering this brand again. The 90 day supply hardly lasts 45 with efficacy.

This has done nothing to help our situation.
This was pricey and UN-RETURNABLE (So, take note: If it’s no more effective than water, you’re STILL out $30). Yet, it has done nothing observable to help. Never again, and will spread the word to my friends and family with cats not to bother with this product.

Lots of cuddles, and no more hissing
My two cats have always been friends, but not exactly BFF’s. They’d usually sleep next to each other but barely touching. They started fighting when we moved to a new place, and a stray cat started coming onto our porch and meowing. If Badger saw it, she’d run across the room just to smack Kit Kat and hiss at her. Lots of misplaced aggression. My long-term goal is to help the stray, but in the meantime I needed something that would stop the fights, and this stuff started working within 24 hours. The last time they saw the stray cat, they responded by sniffing and grooming each other. The only downside is that they seem sleepier than usual, so I don’t want to use this stuff forever. I’ll probably just use it till we sort out the situation with the stray.

This was a lifesaver
My cat was having several issues as a stress response to things going on around him.considering my house is pretty quiet with no little ones running around, his stress reaction was way above what we would expect. Excessive scratching on the scratching posts, frequent trips to his litter box (tested he does not have a UTI and we continue to check it every month), change in diet, the type of water he drinks, and even the types of bowls that he eats out of have been changed and many more that I don’t need to list here. the biggest thing that we need to get as we have tried a lot of work over two years with veterinarians behaviorists and trying to find a way to get him distressed. Today I got the Fel-i-way plug-ins. I immediately opened them. To my surprise,, immediately after removing the plastic that covered the wick, he came over to smell of the liquid that was soaked up into the wick. I plugged them up so that there’s coverage throughout the whole house and he has been much calmer and more his normal self. Obviously I will update this if anything changes, but I was surprised that it started to even work immediately after plugged in. He is been an totally different cat today than he was yesterday and the last two weeks.so maybe it’s just a hopeful mom but he’s really been sitting by them and resting in the hallways were in the kitchen where the other ones plugged in. So I do think that there is a difference in some of what I see with him. We’ll see how things go over the next month.I will update then.

Can’t tell if this does anything at all.
This has had practically no effect on my 18yo cat. He’s recently gotten into the habit of meowing into the night, so I have the diffuser setup on a timer to diffuse for those 6 hours or so. I was hoping for a non-aggressive way to deter his midnight disturbances. As no other factors in the hours have changed to cause the nightly noise, his health is fine, diet is normal, water is clean, litter is empty. Hopefully it’s just a phase before we need to resort to other more punitive measures. The curious resolution for now is setting up a spare memory foam mattress as a sound barrier to block it out and hope we can ignore it until it passes.

Might Have Helped
My husband and I recently were given two kittens from a family member, and our two resident adult cats were NOT having it. I can’t really say that this product solved the issue, as there is still hissing and aggressive behavior being shown to the little ones, but no one has gotten hurt, so I count it as a win. We plugged the device in right outside their safe room for the week, and slowly the cats stopped hissing at the door. Now that the kittens are less restricted, we are seeing some aggression still but nothing to be concerned about We do not notice a scent or any kind of air quality difference in our home, and the kittens seem to be comforted when they are near the device. Our adult cats seem less receptive to it.

So far, so good — with update
Sally (13) and Stanley (8) have never gotten along since he arrived as a kitten, but lately, since the then-dominant male Schooner died, Stanley’s become increasingly aggressive toward her, to the point she was hiding in her safe place almost all the time. Within a day or two of plugging in the first diffuser, things changed for the better. I now have a diffuser on both floors they spend their time in, and the staring, chasing and overall hostility are way down. They’ll never be buddies but Sally is back to spending time in her favorite places outside her refuge, and Stanley hardly ever displays aggression toward her any more.I do get a faint whiff of heating from the diffusers off and on, but they don’t feel hot to the touch and I’m not getting the outright “something’s burning!” smell I got from other companies’ pheromone-dispensing products.Update a year-plus along: Downgrading from five to four stars, as Stanley proved impervious to pheromones in the long run and had to be rehomed (to a great home). I now have five elderly rescues living with Sally, two of whom have needed pheromone help. The aggressive one (who’s also wearing a calming collar) is much less inclined to launch attacks now. I believe the pheromones are a significant part of that. An unexpected side effect is that the one who was timid, over-sensitive to touch, and often tense has mellowed out considerably and is a much happier cat, getting along with others much better now and seeking affection instead of barely tolerating it.Bottom line: This doesn’t work for every cat (what does, eh?) but can make a significant difference for the right felines.

This stuff really works
I wish it lasted a bit longer than it does. It says each one will last a month but so far ive gone thru one in about 2 weeks. But it does the job. I have two cats both males both nutered and from the same litter. They love the hell out of eachother however, Mittens, my black polydactyl kitty feels the need to piss on stuff when nobody is home They have three cat boxes to go in abd they get cleaned every day or every other day just depends. Once i plugged this in Mittens has stopped pissing on my stuff and was using the cat boxes like he should be. I will be buying more juice for a while and see if maybe he has changed his bad habbit

It works but don’t expect a miracle
I think this works better than Feliway actually. I think these products work best as a SPRAY in a vet’s office when they spray it on a table before an exam. I think cats’ olfactory systems adjust to these diffusers, and because of this, over time they don’t work on their senses any more. I don’t have any science to back that up. I have seen how they work as a spray and those definitely work.

How can you even tell if its working???
I have inherited a cat from my deceased mother. She is the sweetest most loving kitty. I have another cat which happens to be her brother from the same litter. When they were babies they adored each other & slept together like yin & yang. Then they were separated when my mom took the female (they are both fixed). Now my male cat goes after her like he is going to murder her and she is terrified of leaving her room. I keep them separated. She has been living here for 6 months. Last month I decided to try this product after reading some of the positive reviews. I ordered 2 and plugged 1 in right next to her bedroom door where the male likes to skulk around looking for her. I can’t even tell if its working. Odorless? Fine. I held my hand over it & can’t feel any blowing. Ok, so it doesn’t puff out the pheromones. Perhaps it just filters out the pheromones somehow? I have had it for a month with no changes. My other cats, though they get along fine, don’t spoon or act any different towards each other after a month of exposure.

Calms, and helps cats
We started li getting one of our 3 cats outside. The other 2 became upset and startedarking territory Around the house. I purchased this because someone mentioned that it could help and it did tremendously. Now my cats all get along again and no one is marking territory. A sent it with my daughter recently after she moved into her new apartment and her 2 cats were going a little crazy feeling uneasy. Calmed her cats right down and made them feel at home in their new environment highly recommend this!!

ThunderEase is made with FeliWay
This ThunderEase “cat relaxer” works well- it’s a good investment in household peace. It’s made with FeliWay, but costs less, especially in the three or six pack. I found the diffuser, when placed in a central traffic area in my home, controlled my 18 lb cat’s displaced aggression for his littler sister when viewing the birds at the feeder. He still had the staring issue of aggression, but the violent attacks stopped. I also noticed he had low blood sugar when he attacked her, so have been monitoring that closer, also. He doesn’t get the low blood sugar and eating connection, despite being shown many times.

Not Exactly Sure
Well, my daughters have never gotten along better! ;-)But seriously, through circumstances beyond my control, we went from a 1 cat home to a 3 cat home within the span of about 6 weeks. We’ve had 4 devices plugged in in different parts of the home for nearly 4 weeks now. While their behavior isn’t as physically volatile as it was, there are still daily standoffs & “mental confrontations”. But honestly, it’s hard to tell if the behavioral changes are from the ThunderEase or just them slowly getting used to each other. Either way, I don’t really feel like it was a waste of money, and I’ll probably try it for another month and see what happens.

It works great for 1-cat households
Our cat was crazy with scratching furniture and carpets, 24/7 meowing, running in front of us so we’d trip, and this seems to have calmed him down. He’s fixed and has been indoor since a tiny kitten, he’s just a really needy and stupid cat. It’s only been a couple days, but the cat acts very relaxed and much less destructive.

From enemies to playmates!
I don’t know if this worked miracles of if my cats just figured it out but, I adopted two new cats and one despised the other. I thought they would get a long since they were both new and no one had territory yet. I was sad that any time the boy came near the girl she would attack him. I got this to help and every day they got better. It wasn’t immediate but they are warming up to each other and actually play with each other now. I am absolutely excited that I no longer have to break up cat fights. I will keep using it and I haven’t had any issues with it overheating. There is also no smell that I can detect.

It works!
This pheromone has done an amazing job. I have tried others, but I didn’t see much of a change. One bottle made a small difference, but it encouraged me to get a second bottle. So, I have one in the kitchen and one in the living room. The territoriality problem is really lessened. They don’t yet groom each other again, but they do sleep within a foot of each other and that is AMAZING.

Not Sure If This Works
I have 2 feral male cats and 3 adopted cats. They are all neutered except for our newest kitten feral. He is about 8 months old. The dominant neutered feral, I started using this product a little over a month ago. Most of the time, the dominant feral will fight with the kitten. I am going to give this product a chance for a few months to see if it works any better. At first try, and into my second bottle I can’t endorse this product at this time. But after reading several reviews before purchasing it, it appears it does work for some people.

Works great!
We adopted a rescued 3 year old cat and had to introduce her to our 12 year old “queen” of the household. These plugins have been amazing at helping them coexist. (I can tell by our older cat getting cranky with the younger one when it’s time to change the vial.) I’ve had no problem with the plug in overheating – I have two and alternate them so their not in continuous use. These do have a slight scent if you’re up close but we don’t notice any scent when they’re plugged in. It is important to plug them in where there’s no obstructions.

Helped my cats!
Brought home a new kitty and it threw off the dynamic of the household. I got this thinking even a little will help and it’s helped a ton! It’s not a miracle cure, my cats will sometimes still get grumpy towards each other, but it went from every day, multiple times throughout the day to only a couple times per week. That’s a win to me!

Peas in a pod
Introduced a new kitten to my cranky middle aged m/n ragdoll, who had previously NOT gotten along with feline visitors I catsat for. I had one diffuser on both levels of the house, one by his litterbox and one in the room the little girl would be in, and turned them on a week prior to bringing her home. I kept her in the separate room for just about 5 days before they sniffed each other through the door and made INSTANT friends… I was SHOCKED! three weeks later my diffusers dried up, and while the big boy does seem to get more easily annoyed by her w/o feliway, I don’t feel I need a refill. We’re now three months in and things are great!

Has made a miracle happen in less that 5 hours….
I have two cats that are sisters and were very loving to each other. We introduced a third cat and she terrorizes them, by chasing them all the time. Both the sisters have scratches on their noses. The sisters no longer cuddle and everything is tense. I love the new addition, but this product was the last resort to getting rid of her. Echo and Willow are the sisters and River is the new addition. I plugged the diffuser in at 5:30 last night. When I went to bed. River and Echo were sleeping together on the couch. This has NEVER happened. It’s been almost two years of constant war and has been getting worse. There was some chasing this morning, but overall it has been a calm day. I put it in the living room where we all hang out and made sure there is nothing blocking it above. As the months go by I will I come back and update.

They were fighting. Now they’re not!
I have two male tabbies and a female calico. Ever since I rescued the third kitty — who was found separated from his mom and siblings and has some socialization issues– there has been tension where before there was none. It finally got to the point where I was thinking I might have to rehone him but we have had him more than two years and I love him despite the chaos he has caused. In desperation I purchased this product and I noticed a difference within 48 hours. The three cats no longer scuffle and only occasionally away. I put three in my home in the rooms they spend the most time in. I was skeptical but now I’m a believer It’s pricey but peace comes at a price.

I think this is helpful
I got this because I have an old cat (18) and a sort of new young cat (3) that aren’t adjusting too well to each other. The young cat is kinda aggressive in finding her space and the old cat is all freaked out. I put this diffuser in the room the old cat hides in but the young cat sometimes sleeps in. Both kitties seem calmer now. In particular, the aggressive one is less aggressive and the old one is much less vocal and skittish. They don’t tolerate each other but they seem less stressed. It has taken a few weeks. I am happy that they are closer to happy.

Seems to be working well!
I don’t have a tried and true way to *know* if this is working, but Id like to think its making an impact! I plugged this in the morning before bringing home to newly-adopted rambunctious kitties later that afternoon. They play a ton, but no fighting! Is it the Thunderease, or is it just them? Either way, it gave me peace of mind to think that I was bringing them into a home that appeared “calming” to them. The product comes with refills, so maybe once the refills run out, I won’t plug another one in for a while, and see if I notice any difference! Meanwhile, they seem to get along while Im out at work, so thats the greatest relief! No scent. Plugged it in a central area of our ~900 sq fr apartment, with nothing below or above it. No dripping, residue, or electrical problems thus far. 🙂

It worked for my VERY territorial boy!
This definitely made a HUGE difference in settling my very territorial boy down. When he sees, hears, smells (?) another cat/animal outside he goes INSANE! And he hill chase and tackle his brother (litter mate, never been separated). Normally they get along very well, so this behavior is all to do with the new neighbor’s outside cats… ThunderEase made a huge difference, Grumpy Boy now just chases his brother out of the room. I am ordering a second one to place on the other side of our great room to see if it will work even better (I think our room is too big/open for just one)

It’s helped
I bought two of these as I moved in with my partner and my female feline was NOT happy about the change. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to attack us, her “brother” – the other cat, or run back and forth while yelling at us. I plugged one in the bedroom and the other in the living room by her self claimed spot. Per the instructions, it could take up to a week to start working and on the 6th day, she finally wanted to cuddle, wanted brushed, and wanted to play, and is finally sleeping with her “brother” again on the scratch tower. She is now laying on my partner’s feet at bedtime and gets a little bummed when he goes to work. I will keep these refilled for the rest of our existence if need be so she stays her adorable, cuddly self. Thanks for saving our family.

I do not usually write reviews but I had to write this one. I desperately wanted another cat so we adopted a young cat just to keep my older one company. Saying it was a hard transition was an understatement. They were fighting. More hissing and some swipes. I would get lots of hissing from my resident cat. I was so desperate because it got to the point where my resident cat refused to go upstairs cuz the new cat was upstairs. We had to separate the litter boxes one upstairs and downstairs. That didnt work. My husband went out on a business trip. He usually works from home and all hell broke loose when I would come home after work. I was so desperate because I’d cry each night because my cats were so unhappy. I decided to try this cuz what else was I gonna lose. It took a while to work but I’ve noticed they both started to calm down. The older one still has anxiety but nowhere near before I got this. I noticed that things were getting bad the moment it ran out. Didnt realize it until tonight. My older cat hid in the pantry. So I changed it to a new one. Within a few minutes my older cat came out and went to her kitty condo with the new one sleeping on the couch. I have to keep buying this just to keep peace in the house.

This product saved my cats life
This literally saved my cats life!I already had one cat and decide to bring home another. My original cat got so stressed out from the new cat that she stopped eating, hid all day and was literally killing herself from stress.I was so scared! I thought bringing in this new cat was going to end ruining my first cat and possibly kill her or give her endless stress. This asked for about a week, where my first cat didn’t eat, was getting super skinny, started throwing up acid and was also now getting hostile.I saw this product and decided to give it a try as a last stitch effort before bringing her to the vet, which I new would cost a lot of money to deal with animal stress..I bought the product and plugged it in…and NOT KIDDING, within 2 days she started eating again and by the END OF THE WEEK she stopped throwing up, stopped being hostile and started playing around with the new cat. After a MONTH of using this product, she was back to normal and would be playing and laying next to the new cat. They now are the best of friends and I could not thank this company enough for healing my little kitty family and pretty much saving her life.THIS PRODUCT WORKS!

A Feline Miracle!
My household is a living miracle of a peaceable kitty kingdom ( or “queendom” as all of my 3 cats are female) since beginning ThunderEase 3 weeks ago. My cats are 2 fairly young cats, the mother kitty is approximately 3, her daughter is approaching 2 and my elder girl is 13. Last summer with the death of my oldest kitty, a gentle male who always got along with EVERYONE, my mama kitty became occasionally aggressive toward my senior kitty. After trying a number of other behaviour modification methods which didn’t help much I did some research on the cat pheromone products available. Please do note that one pheromone is aimed at “fearful” cats, the 2nd available–the pheromone in ThunderEase is targeted for “aggression”. This works!! My Type A Mama is MELLOW, my picked upon senior hasn’t hidden under a bed in 3 weeks, the “baby”, never aggressive, just active and sweet, is still quite active though even SWEETER! Besides the diffuser on occasion I dab a bit of the oil on the kitties–purrs abound! Another note when first using the diffuser it did give off an overly hot, “burning” smell, which I could only stand for an hour or two. After 3-4 days of intermittent use the oder has disappeared. Will add this product to the cat supply list!!

Definite reduction in crankiness
We added another young feral to the two we already had brought into the house. His energy was 180 out from the older 2. So got this thanks to the rambunctious lad (white and black long hair) torturing our fainting violet (the striped tabby) – no viciousness, just constant chasing and BAPBAPBAP – to see if this would help with her “inappropriate elimination,” which we’d learned was a distress signal. Initially we had 2 diffusers (eventually added another) in a 1800+sqft house, and within days, the anxiety level had dropped, and KNOCK ON WOOD we haven’t had another single accident. There is still bapping, but nowhere near the targeted amount there was, AND they can be in close proximity to each other without his brain kicking into “GET HER!” I can also tell when these start to get low, because zooming through the house ticks up a notch, and I’ll go check the level in the bottle. Now, these are not inexpensive, but compared to cleaning cat urine up, and possibly ruined furniture/floors? BARGAIN.

Not so good
Had to wait almost 2 weeks longer for the product to be shipped, still have no clue as to why. The package came completely mangled, and the individual items inside were in poor shape. The one tube of pet stuff had popped it’s seam at the end and the plug in was thankfully packaged right by the manufacturer, because the air pillows that they packed inside to keep it from breaking or bouncing around, were all popped except for one. Also, I realized that this is not chemical free, or even pet safe, like Feliway is. Plus it did nothing in my opinion, so I won’t be getting this brand again.

Like magic
We’re having some renovations done on our house and it was making our cats very tense. Our youngest cat has never gotten along well with our oldest cat, and it got worse and worse. The cats would come into the bedroom to wait to be fed, and because they were in the same room, they’d start fighting. It started earlier and earlier every night. When we were awake, the youngest cat would growl, hiss, and swipe at the oldest cat every time he came within a couple feet of her. And when he wasn’t getting beaten up by the young cat, the old cat would pace around the house and yowl. We were getting no sleep and at the end of our rope!We were skeptical when we bought this, but it started working almost immediately. While the old and young cat are by no means cuddling up to each other, the constant aggression has stopped. The nighttime fights have stopped. The pacing and fretting have stopped. This thing has been a lifesaver! I would recommend it to anyone with anxious cats or cats who don’t get along well. It has saved my sanity!

Total transformation and lifesaver!
We were cat sitting for a very cute kitten. Who turned into a terror after the “exploration phase” ended and she realized her parents and her home were nowhere to be found! We were starting to fear for our lives so we got this and an accompanying spray. Plugged it in the minute it arrived, set a fan right next to it, and by the next day we had a totally different cat, and after another another day she was rubbing up against us and letting us pet her. Was it just familiarity after several days? Who knows, but if we ever take care of her again, we’ll have this plugged in the day before she arrives! Oh, and it was easy to set up, and way cheaper than the local store (which I tried to support first, but they were out of stock as well as far more expensive).

I think it works
I’ve always used the feliway multi cat diffusers. They work great. Thought I’d try these ones. I’m not sure. The cats are happier but one. She peed on the recliner and the diffuser was 2 feet away. It was only plugged in for an hour. So I waited. Then after some time….I waited. She peed in a closet upstairs. Another diffuser was 4-6 feet away. I’m sure it’s just her. She is due to be spayed soon. That should help. At least she’s happier and so are the other cats. I reordered the refills because they cost less than the feliway brand. I’ll update when she gets spayed and see if that was the real issue. She has stopped the scratching on furniture though.

IT WORKS!!!!
I was introducing two new cats, older ones, to my cat. I of course did tons of research on the best way to do this. I kept them separated so they could not see each other. I then set up baby gates so they can see but not interact…. all the steps! But the older ones kept hissing at my kitty. I bought this product thinking, what do I have to loose?I couldn’t believe it. With in a day I saw a difference in their interactions. One of the older cats that was on the aggressive side was totally relaxed. They started exploring the house. It was fantastic. So I’m 3 months in now. After the first month I thought I don’t need it any longer. Everyone is getting along great. Well I knew it must have ran out because the aggressive cat started behaving that way again. He is a totally different cat with this product. I highly recommend it!!!

Personally, don’t like the smell of this.
Not really noticing a difference for my cat with this. No issues with it melting yet. I’ve had a lot more success with using Pet MasterMind Cool Kitty Cat Calming Spray. I still have this plugged in, but the cats don’t seem to have too much calming from this compared to when I use the spray. To me it smells musty. I really notice it in a small space, gives me a headache, I’m told I’m very sensitive to certain smells.

It’s always a little hard to tell if a product like this is really working – I will say when I first plugged it in, one of our cats actually started sniffing the air – so he definitely noticed it. I do think our cats have been getting along a bit better, I plugged this right by our window seats which is where they all like to sit – and sometimes they get in tiffs over who gets to sit where — again, hard to say, but I think it did something and so I did wind up buying refills so I can keep using it!

Now I’m a believer!
I have 2 rescue cats, one of whom is very laid back, the other very high strung. In the past 6 months we’ve moved twice, and although both cats have adjusted well, the moves have clearly been hard on both of them. On a whim, I ordered the ThunderEase Calming Anti-Anxiety Pheromone kit. It arrived today and I immediately opened it and plugged it into an outlet in the dining room, where they spend a lot of time. 5 hours later, as I’m writing this review, after spending the evening running around the apartment playing happily, my high strung cat is asleep on the couch beside me, with his head on my lap. In 3 years, he’s never done this! I know this doesn’t work for all cats (nothing works for everyone) but I’ll be forever grateful that it works for my guy. I’ve never seen him this relaxed, and after just a few hours. So yes, I recommend this product.

This Works Pretty Good!
We live in the country and our 2 cats (neutered & spayed) are day-outdoor/night-indoor kitties. Our bigger kittie started acting aggressively towards the smaller one – attacking her when they were inside. So I got this stuff to see if it would help calm his aggression. Pretty sure tho that our problem had something to do with a neighbor turning out her 3 cats after one of her 2 dogs had pups (we didn’t even know she had any pets). Used this product about a week now and noticing we haven’t heard any caterwauling in a while now and they play like they used to. But it seems our kitties are napping a lot more and their appetites are a little off. I unplugged it today and see if anything changes so might update this review later.

Seems to take the edge off and no detectable scent
This product seems to take the edge off the antagonism between my senior female cats. I was using the pheromone collars but they now have a bad scent. This product has no scent that I can tell, which is very helpful for me. The cats still have their interactions but not as frequent or intense. It took about a week to kick in, it seemed. The price is a bit high and I don’t like using electricity, but for now this is my best choice.

Not sure if it is this or that I got my boys neutered…
Not really sure if it is this thing or the fact that I got my two cats neutered, but they have calmed down a bit. The are originally feral kittens, but they are now enjoying being loved as long as it is by me and I don’t pick them up. Mac is being less trusting, but again I got him fixed so he might be kind of mad at me for that. Tosh is being much more friendly and trusting, but again not sure if it is this product or him being fixed.I was going to take a picture of the two layng next to my chair with this product plugged in in the background but they saw me trying to do just that and ran off. So you just get the picture of them snuggling. What you can’t see is to the right of them is the thundercat plugged in.

Results are uncertain
I bought this product based on the Amazon Reviews and our retail pet store. I have a 3 year old cat who is aggressive with my other cats and causes fights. I have to keep him away from the other cats, which is disappointing. I tried this diffuser in our main living room where we spend most of our time. I did not notice any difference in his behavior after having it plugged in for about 2 weeks. I added some behavior training to keep him engaged elsewhere in addition to the diffuser and have started seeing some results. I would compare this to trying to lose weight- there is no miracle cure. You have to put in effort. If this product was less expensive, I would probably give it a higher rating.

I’ve noticed that our cat is MUCH more calm and less on edge since starting to use the plug in. We entertain a lot/have people in our home almost every day and he used to hide and stay away, but he now seems more social and calm when company is around. We have had persistent issues with him peeing on the couch (anxiety), and since we’ve been using ThunderEase, he’s only peed on the couch one time (after we were late getting home). Could just be ironic, but it does seem to be helping a bit!

LASTED ONLY 19 DAYS NOT 30 DAYS!
I received the plug in with 1 refill on January 24th. Today, February 12th, I noticed my cat starting to pick on my other 2 cats. Sure enough the bottle was empty. Good thing I bought a 6 month supply…which will probably only be 4 months. I noticed a smell with the 2nd bottle but not the first one. Hopefully it will go away. The product definitely works. My cats were very calm. One who rarely likes to be petted even let me pet his belly. The major downside to the product is that it ONLY LASTED 19 DAYS. It clearly says a 30 day supply. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

It took a few days but it works
I was a little skeptical but needed to try something to calm my cats down at night. I have 2 adult 4.5 year old males and recently adopted an 8 month old female kitten who likes to play and run at night. I put the diffuser in my bedroom and saw no real change for the first 3 nights. A couple of nights ago I noticed less fighting and more sleeping and calming at night. Last night I went to find all 3 cats were sleeping and very drowsy and in fact after about an hour in my room I fell asleep like a baby too, I even forgot that I had the diffuser in until I realized the next day why the cats have been calmer at night.
